El Salón de Ama was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel like family. Service was attentive without being rushed, which really added to the overall experience. We started with chips and salsa, which were prepared fresh right at the table. The salsa had the perfect balance of spice and flavor, and the chips came out hot and perfectly crisp—so much better than your average starter. It was the perfect way to begin the meal. For the main course, I ordered the shrimp Alfredo, and it was truly delicious. The sauce was creamy and rich, yet not overpowering, with just the right amount to coat the pasta. The shrimp were fresh, tender, and seasoned beautifully, making every bite well-balanced and satisfying. Just when we thought the meal couldn’t get any better, the staff surprised us with a complimentary dessert. That thoughtful touch really showed how much pride they take in making guests feel special. Overall, El Salón de Ama is more than just a place to eat—it’s an experience. Between the friendly staff, freshly prepared food, and little surprises that make the evening memorable, this is a restaurant I would highly recommend to anyone looking for more than just a great meal. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again.

The service was very good, the food quality and presentation was high, but the dishes thenselves were not quite the fine dining we were expecting for the price. Some came out luke warm and some were under seasoned. With a little refinement on the dishes this could be a great spot!

Excellent value and lots of flavor! There was a live singer too. I really can't think of anything negative. I enjoyed the food, the service was fast and attentive. Bread was served before the meal and after was a chocolate covered banana dessert in a cart with a bell. I wish I would have ordered a drink as they as quite the novelty being over sized. They also make salsa at your table.

Seriously delicious food and amazing service! Every dish felt very purposeful with rich perfectly balanced flavours. This is the best food we’ve eaten in years! There are also cute touches like a bell to ring if you liked it (everyone rings it) and complementary chocolate frozen bananas! We were only in Mexico for a week and went twice! Highly highly recommend!

Restaurant, food, ambiance, price for value was amazing. This is a special place not to be skipped or dismissed because it happens to be in a mall. One of the best dining experiences I have had even compared to Michelin star restaurants. Meticulous plating and every aspect of the dishes are well thought out including the visual experience. Absolutely fabulous.

I love everything about this place from the food to the staff to the drinks and the entire experience you get when you go there. It's fun and interactive how they present everything and have the spin wheel for efectivo. My waiter helped me get the lobster out of the shell, and worked so hard and spent so much time. The drink menu is awesome and I can't wait to go try breakfast. The ambiance and decor makes you feel like you're in a different place. The singer was amazing!!! Then at the end they brought complimentary frozen banana dipped in chocolate. It's absolutely every detail and pure perfection!!!!

We came here earlier in the week for dinner and had such an amazing experience that we had to come back for breakfast our last day in Puerta Vallarta. Everything we ordered was incredible but the show stopper was the French bread and mascarpone.
